A Warm Fall Welcome

Nothing is more welcoming
than a light in the window.

This week has been a very difficult one
for those living on the East Coast.

My heart goes out to all those
whose lives have been so drastically changed.

I am so very thankful for everything that I have.

I will no longer take for granted the simple comforts of life...
like warmth, light and a secure home.

Please click on the link below and share some of
your warmth with those less fortunate.

Enjoy your weekend!

xoxo

Hi Bunny Jean,
What a thoughtful post. I live on the MS Gulf Coast and have experienced many hurricanes. They can be devastating, with recovery a lengthy process. Support, prayer, and perseverance are so needed during these times. I am visiting from A Favorite Thing Saturday and am your newest follower. Please stop by Still Woods Farmhouse for a visit!

Thank you so much for joining in this week, Bunny! Your message is heartfelt and powerful. We've donated to the Red Cross and I'm going to post a link tomorrow. Everything else pales in comparison, doesn't it?

We have so much to be grateful for everyday. I will continue to pray for those who are trying to put their lives back together.

Hi Bunny Jean! Beautiful words and beautiful snaps. We do have so much to be thankful for. I sit and cry watching the TV as it brings back memories of four years ago when hurricane Ike hit us! Some of my friends lost everything they had and they've never been the same. My prayers go out to all these folks.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Yes, it's a time of thankfulness for all of us not touched by the hurricane.

Those along the East Coast have been in my thoughts and prayers. We here on the Gulf Coast know the heartache hurricanes can bring.

I agree, Bunny Jean! It's so easy to take the simple things in our homes (or our homes themselves!) for granted. It isn't until we see others suffering that we realize how very lucky we are. Take good care and enjoy the rest of the week!

So true! A hopeless day can be brightened by a beautiful light coming in. I think of the tragedy on the East coast a lot and pray they will get their lives back together soon. It's going to take a long time for some.
