A Bunny Hop Break...

Last week marked my 50th Bunny Hop Party.

That means approximately one year of weekly parties.

During that time I made many new friends. That was my purpose for the party. To have a platform to reach out to others who I would enjoy getting to know. Hopefully they would feel the same way about me.

Last week I thanked those bloggers who have stayed with me from the very beginning. There are also those who arrived a few months later and have been sharing week after week. I truly love to visit each and every one of you.

Not only have you shared your wonderful posts but you have left me so many sweet comments. Comments mean a lot to bloggers. We all like to be appreciated, don't we?

I know how difficult it is to keep in touch on a regular basis... plus manage your own blogs... and your real life. Thank you all so very much!

Now for the hard part.

I will be taking a break from hosting the Bunny Hop. I hope to start up again in September. Time will tell.

In the mean time I will be focused on my real life. I hope to be able to post from time to time... and to visit you. I even hope to share at some other parties.

Wednesday's Bunny Hop Party # 50

DRUM ROLL...

This week marks the
50th Bunny Hop Party!

My first party had just 14 links and of those bloggers only

Wednesday’s Bunny Hop Party #48

Let's PARTY

Yes it is that time again...

are you ready?

Last week I mentioned that the theme for this week's party would be about projects that you have
made with items that you already had on hand.

It can be a new post or even old ones that you would like

to re-share. But please, no more than three posts.

However, this is still an open party
and you may you may still
post about anything you want!

I will even share a few links of my own.

Wednesday’s Bunny Hop Party #47

It's TOO hot to do anything...

so let's PARTY!

Here in my little corner of the world
it is in the high one-teens!
It might even get to 120 if were are ~~lucky~~ unlucky!
It's a good time to stay indoors, relax and blog.

I visited a blog today that had me cracking up.

Debbie at Words On Wheels

posted about how she had her bank account hacked!

Okay, so that is not a funny subject...

unless you go and read Debbie's take on it.

Because of that "theft", this month is going to be a

NO BUY JULY for her and she shared

a project from things she had laying around.

I invited her to share it at this week's party and hopefully she will but if not... here it is.

Wednesday’s Bunny Hop Party #46

It's Bunny Hop Time again.

This summer is speeding by for me.

Lots of really HOT weather but nothing to complain about considering what has been happening in other parts of the country.

I hope you are are safe and sound!

This family of rag dolls has come to visit me every year about this time. This year they are perched on top of my hutch in the dinning room. That little maple bench is one that my father made over 50 years ago.

My hutch is sort of ready for the 4th...

This flag was my husbands uncle's.

It is old and has only 48 stars.

I will be sharing more pictures of my dinning room
and will link them to my party.

Wednesday’s Bunny Hop Party #45

It's Bunny Hop Party Time!

This week has been a good week.

The Mr. is feeling much better. He is no longer critically anemic.

(He had a total of four units of blood while in North Dakota.)

He will have more test (upper and lower GI series) asap.

For those of you who are new to the party the last two weeks have been a little scary and I have not been visiting all of your party links or commenting.

I hope you will understand. Since I didn't visit you, I can not feature any links. I will try to get back to my regular schedule this week.

Wednesday’s Bunny Hop Party #44

It's time for another

Bunny Hop Party!

If you are a regular at my parties then you know last week was a hard week for me because my husband became critically ill while in North Dakota.

The next few days were extremely difficult and scary for us.

My suggestion to all of you...

Do not have an HMO and get sick out of your coverage area!

My husband asked me to not write about him...

so just know that he made it home and it seeing doctor(s).

There is no diagnosis yet and it may take a few weeks.

Now that being said... I am so sorry that

I didn't visit your party links last week and comment on them.

So there are not any features to share this week.

I may or may not visit you this week, however I do have a couple of my own post that are 'scheduled' .

Hopefully I will be back soon.

Yes Folks...

It's time for Wednesday's Bunny Hop Party!

Sorry I am late... I have had some unexpected things happen around here that kept me from getting my post up.

Like my husband getting sick way out in North Dakota,

where they don't seem to have emergency clinics or hospitals!

AND...

Losing my whole post AGAIN!!!

But enough of that...

I really need a party today!

EDIT: He got an IV and some meds for nausea. He had dizziness, clamminess, and a painful upset stomach. They did an EKG and chest xray. His blood work showed higher than normal white blood count. The diagnosis was an intestinal virus. They gave him Reglan and I don't understand why... xo Bunny Jean

Wednesday’s Bunny Hop Party #40

Happy Happy Spring!

Yes... I know it actually getting closer to being summer, but I always seem to be a little late to catch on. In fact I was late to my own party again this week :/

Most of you have been really busy lately. Hopefully you have had some nice weather to enjoy your gardens and not just do your “spring cleaning”!

I have tried to get some gardening done on the cooler days… Sunday it was forecasted to be 107 but I don’t really know how hot it got…. just too hot for me. So I stayed inside and tried to clean and organize.

Buddy was sitting out on the patio while I had my morning coffee. His highlight of the day is when I take him (and Buster) for a walk. Lately I have been too lazy in the mornings. I have to go before 6-7 a.m. or it gets too hot, so we go at night after sunset. Last night it was 97 degrees at 10 p.m. Notice that the candles are not sitting on the candlesticks... they will melt if I put them out this time of year.

A few evenings ago we almost stepped on a snake. It was directly just a few feet in front of us. I am so glad the dogs were sidetracked by someone coming out of their house... we stopped and then I saw it. It looked like a rattler. (This was just a few doors down from our house.) It was very still... and when it did move it went sideways just like a Sidewinder. Yikes! I will be getting the dogs vaccinated ASAP!
