Okay... so this is NOT my garage...
I can't even take a picture of mine...
because I can't find my camera!
My garage looks like this. It has been totally cleaned and organized THREE times since November. The inside of the house is not much better... well maybe a little.

Getting ready for a move during the holidays is no picnic! Between sorting, organizing, tossing, and packing (all normal things for preparing to move), I also had to decorate for the holidays and entertain House Guests.
This is the third time that I have totally cleaned, then demolished and cleaned again! Seems that every new project involves moving ONE room's content to ALL THE OTHER ROOMS IN THE HOUSE. Then I have to get it all put back for my company, or husband's visit home, or just being able to function on a daily basis.
That's right.... he is already in the Palm Springs area. He came home for Christmas... to help get the house ready to sell. He is gone again, so now I am putting all the rooms back in order... for the THIRD time. Not to mention pack up all the Christmas stuff...
Hopefully I can get the house ready for the Realtor to visit and let me know what the market price should be. Not looking forward to that. Only because I know it
I still haven't figured out how to get new carpet or wood flooring installed... while I have a house full of furniture. If we had figured that one out, we would have done it before we had even planned to move. Please, can anyone share how they have done it?
Sorry there are no pretty pictures of anything creative or pleasing to look at. I guess I could take a few pictures of the shambles... that might actually help some of you feel less stressed about your holiday clean-up, or that "down" feeling that sometimes arrives just after all the holiday festivities. I may just do that... as soon as I can locate my camera!!!
ANYWAY... even though I have been too busy (overwhelmed) to post lately, I HAVE stopped by to visit YOU. You are all the bright spot in my day... er... late (really late) evening, and I thank you for being there for me! XO

I'm with you sweetie...Having to get ready to move is tough anytime...but during the holidays...Oie! Hang in there...everything will eventually come together...little by little.

Oh, how I know those feelings all too well! Every time we get a transfer, hubby moved first and I was left behind to deal with the home sale, movers and children. Children are now grown and we live in a place we love. Hope to stay here for a long long time.
Last move I wound up getting sick with a bacterial infection - I was so run down, thin, and exhausted. I almost passed away. It was terrifying to me and family and then to have months and months of recovery. My point, be careful and take care of YOU!
Good Morning, Bunny Jean!
Thank you for stopping by my place and leaving your comment with the link to Affordable Accourtrements. I am heading over there next to see what I can learn!
Reading your profile and perusing many of your posts, I can see just what a creative lady you are! Best wishes that your packing and moving adventures go as smoothly as possible!
Kindly, ldh
Thanks for stopping by. Sounds like you have your hands full with the move. Been there, done that - more than once. I also bought on of the heart shape topiaries at 70% off. :-)
Oh, packing and selling a house. Well, have you found a new place in your new locale yet?
