Pretty In Pink Valentine's Day Dishes

Today I would like to share a
"Pretty in Pink" Valentine's Day
tablescape I shared two years ago.

~~~
This little rose topped trinket box,
that is sitting on the doily, was given to me
by my grand daughter many years ago.
Isn't it just precious?
What could be inside???
Oooh... a necklace from my Hubby.
It has Diamonds on both sides.
I love diamonds, don't you?
These little pink heart dishes were
purchased from Ross a few years back.
The cream dinner plates are from TJ Maxx.
These yummy looking frosted brownies
100 % calorie free!  Yes they are!!!
They are faux!
That is a fancy French word for false or fake.
They have "frosting and whipped cream".
 See how real those chopped nuts look.
Hubby gave me the most beautiful long stemmed roses a few years back. They arrived in that hand painted vase.
However these roses are silk.
I love these pink glasses that I found at Tuesday Morning. The pink votive holders are from Ross.
These little sugar cubes are decorated with
dainty "frosting" roses... and they are also faux
These pink napkins are made from some
 Waverley fabric remnants.
The flatware is just stainless but it is
trimmed in real gold and is still very pretty...
although inexpensive.
~Optical Illusion~
Does the glass on the right look like it
is upside down? Or is the one on the left?
It is just an optical illusion.
I hope you have enjoyed all this pinkness as much as I have enjoyed putting it together for you!
Don't forget...
xoxo
I wish I had more Valentines decor. You put together cute ideas to steal :) I was thinking as I read your post and viewed the photos that pink is such a popular decorating color right now. Not for kids but for home decor and I really like it. I haven't picked up anything pink yet but I'm waiting for the right pink thing to come along. Maybe to start with a pillow???
The faux food is so fun! (Try saying that five times fast!) I have a lot of it left over from when I owned my store. I used it for staging all the time there. It comes in handy these days, too, when I don't have the time or expertise or $$$ for some things. I have never seen faux sugar cubes! So cute! I have a baker friend of mine creating some real ones for me that I hope I can keep intact for awhile! Very nice! Have a beautiful weekend!
Oh my goodness I have never been to your blog before and I'm trying to figure out how I missed it. WOW... Your beautiful table just is mesmorizing. Every little detail...even the faux desserts..they look so yummy. Oh I do love your pink heart plates and wish I could find some. I've looked and looked until the cows came home.
I see you are from Palm Dessert. I am originally from SoCal and I'm so very familiar with the area. Hey I saw you on BNOTP and am SO glad I came. I am now following you!!
