Happy New Year!

It is hard to believe that another year
has passed by so quickly.

Do you toast the New Year with a glass of Champagne?

Do you make New Year Resolutions?

Or are you like me...
enjoying a quiet evening at home?

Whatever your traditions to "Ring in the New Year",
I hope it is a safe one.

My husband and one of my sons slept thru the new year--my other son and Chantel and I hit pans on the back porch and made as much noise as we could. I wish you a wonderful 2013!

We always say NYE is for rookies, while we are snug as a bug at home!
Most years lately we don't even stay up to usher the new year in...this year we raised our flutes with prosecco after gorging ourselves with steamed mussels and crusty french bread so sop up all that delicious broth.
Wishing you a very happy new year!

We had a wonderful family party with lots of our favorite party foods. We always toast with sparkling grape juice or cider. I have never been much for making New Years resolutions, but instead welcome every Sunday as a week of new beginnings. More fun that way! Happy New Year and blessings from Still Woods Farmhouse

Bunny Jean, I came over here from "A Positive View on Life," which I came across while visiting "Always Nesting." Your blog is lovely. I say the post about your son-in-law, Kevin. My sweet son-in-law, Jimmy, is battling Stage IV kidney cancer. He lost a kidney 2 yrs. ago and last year tumors were found in his lungs one month and his brain the next month. He has undergone 3 major surgeries in the past 2 yrs. He is fighting a good fight now with radiation and chemo. I didn't go through all your posts but I pray your Kevin is doing well.
