Today is the last day of November...
That means just 25 days 'till Christmas
and 24 more days of marathon shopping.
I have had a busy start to the holiday season. One of my daughters and a granddaughter were scheduled for a visit, but she (DD) had emergency back surgery on Thanksgiving Day... the day before she was to fly and visit :(
Thankfully she is alright. She had a ruptured disc in her lower back. SO glad it happened when she was home and not in flight or while visiting.
The airlines gave her ticket vouchers to be used anytime within the next year so I will be looking forward to that. She and my GD will be able to get away from all the cold and wet in the Pacific Northwest in late winter.
In the meantime I will be traveling up to see her and most of my family, who still live there. I will be gone for one whole week! It has been a few years since my last Christmas visit and I am looking forward to it!
