Where Have I Been?

Hard to believe,
but I am finally finding my TRUE SELF...
at the ripe old age of sixty!

Yes, all mothers were once sweet little girls.

I lost who I was in early my childhood.
I was subtly told who I should be, and being
the "good child" that I was... I obeyed.

So I have gone through life trying to
please others and feeling out of place.
Not being true to myself.

Does this sound familiar?

I think that many of us sometimes lose ourselves as we take on different roles throughout our lifetime. It's like we can all learn how to write with our non-dominate hand... but it is not natural for us and we won't feel comfortable.

You are all aware that I have taken some time off from my blog. In fact my last post was sort of pathetic and whiny. Sorry about that.

I knew I needed time away to collect myself.
Or in this case find myself. To stop trying too hard and just be me... whoever that is or was at one point in my life.

I am feeling SO MUCH better.

For the last year I have been getting emails from Carol Tuttle (she is a Master Healing Therapist) and have been wanting to take one of her courses. The only reason I didn't is because of the cost.

I didn't feel good enough about myself to spend money for the course. Even though it is less than most of the nicer handbags that sell at the mall.

But then it came on sale.

So I felt that I could spend that much on myself.
Now I realize that I am important and worth it.
I just wish I had not waited over a year before buying it!

I am an affiliate but have never before  advertised her courses. But now that I've purchased it and love ... I feel it's okay to share. I don't get paid money for sharing this but I do get points that I can use at the Dressing Your Truth online store.

I really, REALLY, enjoy listening to Carols videos!
The course I got was her Dressing Your TruthBelieve me... it is not just about how to dress.

See how this is NOT just a colors/seasons profiling system.

It helps you to understand your personality and the way you deal with your life... and the way others react to you. You will  learn what your true energy type is. It might not be the one you have be living!

That just may be why you have
a closet full of clothes
that you don't wear.

It also reflects on how we
decorate our homes!

I would LOVE it if some of you could share
this experience of growth with me. It would be so much fun to chat back and forth.

"Decorating Our Truth" blogging... lol.

Since I am an affiliate with her,

I ask that you please use my links if you do in fact decide to take part in this fabulous offer.
