Paper Dolls Celebrate the 4th of July

Are you planning a party for
The Fourth Of July?

Dolly Dingle is a very patriotic girl.
To read about her history visit my other post:

Another patriotic girl in the paper doll world is Ann Estelle.
Remember her? She was the creation of Mary Engelbreit.

Click on the picture to enlarge.

These paper dolls were featured in some of her
Home Companion magazine issues.

I miss those  magazines and saved mine. Did you?
You can visit Mary at her website or her blog.

Sharing at these fun parties:

Bunny Jean -- You were so smart to hold on to those magazines. Your paper dolls have so much charm. Shall I stop by and we can play together?

Have a red, white & blue celebration for the 4th!

Stopping by from It's a Very Cherry World Rednesday. I love paperdolls. I saved most of my Home Companion magazines. I keep hearing rumors she might bring it back again. Her paperdolls were one of the first things I looked for in each issue. Happy 4th of July!

No party planned for me today. However, I loved paper dolls a long time ago. I used to cut them out of anything I could find and pretend.
