Nutcracker Tabletop Display

My sofa table, turned writing desk, is the setting
for this weeks tabletop display.

I have been collecting nutcrackers for years.
They are not the really expensive ones...
but I love them just the same.

This little Christmas plate is a Fitz and Floyd
that I picked up at the GW boutique!

This little Whirly Gig thing is MANY years old.
I don't know what it is called, but I got it when
the kids were little, so it is around 25-30 yrs old.

You never know where the Nutcracker Troupe
will end up at from year to year.

I think they have even been seen on the fridge!

Have you ever been to see the Nutcracker Ballet
performed in a beautiful theater?

Thank you for visiting me today!

xoxo

Bunny, I have never owned a nutcracker, and I don't know why, because I love them! I just may have to start a collection.

Love your nutcrackers! I like your display and the whirly gig thing is called a Carousel Pyramid or a Windmill Pyramid with it's roots from Erzgebirge, Germany
I have a bunch of nutcrackers I haven't put out in a long time. Makes me feel guilty! I did get out my nutcracker music box though!

Hi Bunny Jean, Loved this post-I somehow missed yesterday or I would have linked my table setting to yours. However today I have two special animal visitors at my blog so you should check it out.
Have a wonderful day friend!

It wouldn't be Christmas without Nutcrackers... although, I think yours is the first display I've seen this year. It's very nice and you did a great job photographing them.

What a wonderful nutcracker collection. My daughter and I used to go see the ballet every year.....loved it. The grandgirls will soon be the right age to see the magic.

When I was little, nutcrackers always scared me- the expression on their faces looked so solemn and mean! LOL
Your collection is wonderful the way you have it displayed! I like your F&F plate and your "whirly gig." Hoping to join your party tomorrow. :-) Sue
